The aim of the project ’6 billion Others’ is to draw a sensitive and human portrait highlighting the universal and the particular in each individual through sending a team of cameramen to meet and interview the inhabitants of this Earth.
The questions we have retained are those common to all humanity since the dawn of times. Some comments on mankind’s great interrogations have such truth and depth that they elicit immediate response.
Each individual portrait bears some resemblance to us. Thought provoking and moving, they induce self-questioning. Through their very diversity, such encounters enrich our scope by opening new perspectives. Do we all aspire to the same happiness? Do we all face the same problems?
Over 5.000 interviews have been filmed in more than 70 countries and will be showed in Paris at the Grand Palais.
